Our “One-on-One” Design Process
Our clients believe that it’s our unique “One-on-One” design process that sets us apart.
One-on-One, means during all aspects of the design, manufacturing and installation, if you have a question, any issue at any time, you talk directly to Shaun – to the designer and cabinetmaker – One-on-One – not a sales, rep, not a supplier or subcontractor, but the person responsible for making it happen.
When you build with us at SRT Cabinetry, things get done faster and with a higher level of quality and old fashioned attention to detail, that just isn’t possible with the big, high-volume builders.
Dealing directly with the designer and cabinetmaker means flexibility – during the build, any question, concerns and even changes and modifications can be discussed and incorporated. Our ability to bring lots of fresh ideas to your project, is what brings your personality out of your new home.
It’s this that makes our work different – it’s the personal touch, the peace of mind and importantly – because we build smart, we are very cost effective, without comprising quality.

Our One-on-One Design, Manufacturing and Installation Process
This is how our “One-on’One” process works (using the example of a new kitchen project).
1. Getting to know you
The first step in creating your custom designed kitchen, bathroom, laundry, commercial or office fit-out is simple – it’s a conversation! We believe in getting to know our clients, their hopes, and their expectations before we even lay pen to paper.
We come out to visit you in your home and we discuss your layout with you.
We talk about what is important to you. what your “dreams” are and we give you our feedback and recommendations based on our experience – something that just can’t be done from drawings!
2. Colours and layout design
During the meeting in your home, once we finalise your preferred layout we’ll discuss colours and colour schemes – all of which we use in the next “foundation” step.
3. We then design and quote your “foundation” kitchen
Your “foundation” kitchen, with your “must-haves” is the base upon which you’ll then add your “love-to-have” finishes and options.
We realise that there can sometimes be a “difference: between our “budget” and our “dreams” – so with the foundation kitchen, you’ll know what your base level budget is – this way you can compare “apples-with-apples” when you talk to other suppliers.
4. We then work with you as you add your “dream” finishes to your new kitchen.
Once you know what your “foundation” kitchen costs, you can then add your “love-to-have” items – such as your stone bench tops, routed 2-pack doors, soft closing doors, stone waterwall ends and more.
5. You then visit our showroom to finalise and confirm your finishes and colours.
Our showroom gives you the chance to visualise your final layout, colours and design – you are clear on your budget and all the itemised costs.
6. Then, we get to work, manufacturing your new kitchen, laundry, bathroom and more!!
And because you’re working directly with Shaun, during all aspects of the design, manufacturing and installation, if you have a question, any issue at any time, you talk directly to Shaun – to the designer and cabinetmaker – not a sales, rep, not a supplier or subcontractor, but the person responsible for making it happen.
